World Polio Day on October 24, 2024, is a global platform for raising awareness and resources to eradicate polio.
Rotary International and Rotarians worldwide are using the day to showcase the current status of the eradication effort and the steps needed to achieve a lasting world free of all polioviruses.
World Polio Day serves as a crucial moment to celebrate progress and renew commitment at all levels to eradicate polio. Experts assert that there are no technical or medical reasons for the disease to persist, and we should be able to eradicate it once and for all. Our focus must remain on vaccinating every child to ensure success.
We are hosting an event on November 2, 2024, to raise funds to help eradicate polio. If you cannot attend and would like to donate, please use our donation form: https://www.claytonrotaryclub.org/pints-for-polio-donation-form/
