Nine Clayton Rotarians attended Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI) training at the Duke Corporate Training Center in Durham on Saturday, October 05, 2024. RLI is a three-part series of one-day interactive courses open to Rotarians all over our Zone 33, covering the Eastern U.S. states from western Pennsylvania to South Carolina. It is predominantly attended by those from our own Rotary District 7710. Still, it sometimes includes individuals willing to go outside their Districts to finish their training more quickly. The three parts help Rotarians learn more about Rotary and develop and refine their leadership skills. Courses start with Rotary Basics & History and cover the scope of Leadership, Ethics & Vocation, Service & the Rotary Foundation, Communication, and Membership. It allows attendees to interact with like-minded Rotarians, grow friendships, and expand their knowledge by learning how other Clubs may do things differently.
